Historically, the businessperson has wanted his or her company to grow. Larger companies meant greater success and greater profits.Larger companies also meant more jobs for people in the community. But some companies have become so large that they are no longer profitable or practical to run. When this happens, the company may down size, or deliberately reduce growth.
